I look at our lives as a butterfly effect. Every minute of it contributes to this cycle of life in some way. We all start out as the humble caterpillar that is innocent and kind. But after a while the world looks at us and thinks that being kind is a tragedy and to be rude is better so we hide in our little cocoon. It protects us and shelters us, kind of like God. Being in that shelter gives us a new look, a new way to be who we are, and though we look back and may wish we were that sweet caterpillar I think we must all realize that even though we’ve changed, we are still the same humble and kind person we were; we’ve just grown up a little bit. In that shelter God gives us the wings to fly higher, in that shelter we experience life and yes we may get treated poorly but in the end we soar higher than ever and with such unique and beautiful designs. I find it quite interesting, the maturity process, because it’s purely based on life and how we are treated. To grow in wisdom, love, and faith we must look back on our mistakes and know what the right thing to do is; but we also grow rich in these items through our lives. Even if you don’t notice it, you’ve changed, I’ve changed, we have all changed for good and I like to think we transform into something better. Life gives us the strength to carry on, it builds who we are and God is the one who lifts us up, he’s the one that wraps us in protection, and he’s the one that, if you look close enough, will always be right next to you and guide you to a better and more wondrous life. He can show you how to grow in your shelter and he’s the only reason why this beautiful cycle of life even exists, he’s the reason for the butterfly effect. He’s the reason why we are not afraid to fly, and he’s the reason why life is always a little brighter each day.

Beautiful!
